About ASET

The Astronomical Society of East Texas, also known by its associated acronym as “ASET”, is a non-profit organization, which was organized in September, 1986 for education and astronomical research purposes. ASET provides an opportunity to share astronomy interests and supports its members and the general public with information about astronomical events, processes, hardware and equipment, and other areas within the field of astronomy.
